Yes, we know it’s dark and gross outside. But what better time to test your running mettle than during a winter night run? On Feb. 28, REI and HOKA ONE ONE invite you to get your headlamp, your dog, grab a friend or three and pick a new loop, a new time, a new terrain—just something challenging to shake up your normal routine. The twist you choose is up to you the night of the run—your spirit for adventure is already waiting.
If the challenge isn’t incentive enough, we’ll donate $1 per registered runner to The Trust for Public Land (up to $10,000). The more runners, the more good we can do, so tell your friends and help us light up the night all across the country in the name of public lands, the power of collective action, and the magic of running at night.
